Project Administrator

This position requires working both from the Sherwood Park office and on site near Fort McMurray (FFM), based on operational and project requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform payroll-related tasks in unionized and/or non-unionized environments
  • Enter daily timesheets and create client LEMs
  • Maintain records for all subcontractors and employees
  • Coordinate logistics including flight bookings and camp accommodations
  • Complete general office and administrative duties
  • Verify cost coding in client and internal databases
  • Daily workforce reporting and attendance tracking
  • Material and third-party invoice entry for LEM generation
  • Maintain accuracy while completing a high volume of data entry under tight deadlines
  • Assist with turnover and HSE documentation, including scanning and document control
  • Perform other related duties as required by Management

Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous experience with time entry in a construction-related environment is required
  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook) is considered an asset
  • Experience with time entry software is required
  • Experience coordinating logistics is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
  • On-site industrial or construction experience is considered an asset

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Administrative certificate considered an asset
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered
  • Energetic, team-oriented, and highly motivated
  • Strong initiative with the ability to drive tasks to completion
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to produce high-quality work while working under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English


Working Conditions

  • Employment Type: Full-time, temporary
  • Working Arrangement:
    • Office-based work in Sherwood Park
    • Site-based work near Fort McMurray (FFM)
      • Scheduling to be confirmed based on operational requirements
  • Day shift
  • Travel required
