TURNAROUND SCHEDULER

DCM Integrated Solutions Inc. is seeking a driven Turnaround Scheduler to support our Turnaround projects with scheduling and project tracking while embedded within our client’s project controls team. Reporting to the General Manager of Maintenance and Turnaround, this role ensures our Turnarounds remain on time, on budget, and aligned with strategic goals.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support development and maintenance of project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools
  • Monitor project costs, resource allocation, and progress to assist with forecasting and earned value reporting
  • Prepare and maintain project control reports including progress tracking, found work, cost variance analysis, and schedule performance
  • Work collaboratively with execution teams to validate project performance
  • Assist in identifying risks and deviations from plan; help formulate corrective action plans
  • Participate in regular scheduling and planning meetings to provide performance metrics and analytics support
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and support documentation audits
  • Work directly with client representatives to provide the above services as a seconded representative of DCM within the client organization


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 3–5 years of project controls experience with owners in oil and gas turnaround environments
  • Proficiency in scheduling and reporting software (Primavera P6, MS Excel, Power BI, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report data clearly
  • Effective communication skills for liaising across departments and with external stakeholders
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines with shifting priorities

 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field


WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Remote work site in northern Alberta
  • Shift Cycle: 4&3 (40 hours per week)
  • Ability to meet and maintain site access requirements
