ABOUT THE ROLE
Ready to run projects, not just support them? This is the next step up from coordinator — you'll take direct ownership of project delivery, lead subcontractor relationships, and manage budgets and schedules independently. You'll work alongside PMs who are invested in your growth, on medium to large scale industrial construction projects where no two days look the same.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Delivery
– Own and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables from mobilization to closeout
– Identify schedule risks early and support recovery planning with site leadership
– Conduct regular site walkthroughs to verify quality, safety, and scope compliance
– Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and photo documentation
Subcontractor & Site Management
– Manage subcontractors and tradespeople day-to-day — attendance, scope, and performance
– Attend and support site meetings; distribute action items and minutes
– Oversee onboarding, orientations, and compliance documentation for all site personnel
– Support communication between HSE, site leadership, and the home office
Budget & Contract Administration
– Track project costs against budget; review and approve subcontractor invoices
– Support change order identification, pricing, and processing
– Manage RFIs, submittals, and document control systems
– Assist with tender preparation and contract administration as assigned
Procurement & Logistics
– Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and on-site receiving
– Manage mobilization logistics — travel, accommodations, and equipment staging
– Liaise with vendors and suppliers to prevent material-related schedule impacts
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
– Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or related field. Combined training and work experience in industrial construction to be considered
– 2–5 years of experience in construction coordination or project management
– Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced site environment
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Intermediate to advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Assets
– Hands-on experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent construction software
– Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
– Familiarity with industrial construction processes and terminology
– Exposure to change order and budget management processes
– WHMIS, Construction Safety, and/or First Aid certifications
