MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage team to complete a variety of tasks
- Perform work and operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company and site policies/procedures
- Provide manual labour services as and when required; assist trades when needed
- Ensure all equipment is safely and securely stored
- Maintain daily records and reports as required
- Industrial setting, working under permit experience preferred
- Work well with others in a team atmosphere
- Able to accept change in priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Other duties as required by supervisor/manager
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong leadership skills with past supervisory experience is a must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands and conditions
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Zoom Boom and/or Skid Steer Ticket
- H2S Alive
- WHMIS 2015
- One of the following Valid Safety Tickets: CSO, OSSA BSO, OSSA Regional, or CSTS-09
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Shift Cycle: 7&7 (May be subject to change)
- Day Shift
- Charter flights from Edmonton or Calgary to job site
- Camp accommodations during shift cycle
- Ability to lift and carry objects independently or as a team
- Ability to meet and maintain site access requirements
