FOREMAN SCAFFOLDER

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to safely erect, maintain, repair, and modify all types of industrial scaffolding with minimal supervision (i.e. towers, cantilevers, hanging scaffolds)
- Estimate scaffolding jobs effectively
- Identify appropriate type of scaffolding material to use for the job
- Inspect and tag scaffolding accordingly
- Ability to work within a multi trade environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Valid Red Seal or Journeyman Certificate (Trade credential must be recognized in Alberta)
- Must have Foreman experience
- Industrial Experience
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Demonstrate practical problem solving abilities
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Day Shift
- Charter flights from Edmonton or Calgary to site
- Camp accommodations provided during scheduled shift
- Ability to lift and carry objects independently or as a team
- Ability to meet and maintain site access requirements
